Pride
My pride as a man ; correction young man is something that I valued highly. Growing up I always wondered, " how do I become a man, fit enough to take care for the ones I love?" many "boys" say that you must be strong, brave, courageous, daring, bold and all sorts of things. To though, being a man means loving and cherishing his family and doing his be a loving man and father. One that loves and fears almighty god. One that is a protecter of his family to the best of his ability. This is what should be, in my eyes anyway. I hope that maybe one day when I'm older and when I have son or daughter, that they think of me as a man that was great and loving. I want to be the beat man that I can be. My father once told me this when I was little. "just because you turn 18, doesn't make you a man. The things you do in life will determine that." I haven't forgotten those words and I never will. This is what I value most. Thank you.
